They come from Cinema, with different cultural backgrounds and speaking different languages. They came to Chinese land to study and witness China’s development in recent years, deepen their understanding of China, and feel and experience a “three-dimensional and vivid” China through their own perspective. At the same time, they also brought different concepts, ways of thinking and cultural traditions, promoting the exchange of Chinese and foreign cultures. Today, Jinyang.com will continue to launch eight episodes of the “Qingsong Envoy” column to listen to these Chinese stories of students coming to China.

The Republic of South Africa is located at the southernmost end of the African continent and has the reputation of “Rainbow Country”. It is particularly worth mentioning that it has three capitals: the administrative capital of Letoria, the legislative capital Cape Town, and the judicial capital Bloemfontein. South Africa is divided into nine provinces, with a population composition of four major races including black, colored, white and yellow.

In 1990, in order to seek business opportunities, Chen Haoyu’s father came to South Africa. After stabilizing in Pretoria, he took his family here to settle. Until now, he still manages the clothing business in South Africa. Chen Haoyu was born and raised in Pretoria, known as the “Garden City”.

The following is Chen Haoyu’s story:

South AfricaKomiksThere are 12 languages in total, and the more commonly spoken local languages are “Afrikaans” “IsiZulu”. Since South Africa was a British colony in history, most of the residents were accustomed to using English to communicate. The city where I live and grow up was Pretoria. Because the South African Presidential Palace and embassies are concentrated in this city, there are also many foreign populations on the streets. In addition to Johannesburg and Cape Town, these three cities form the most populous area in South Africa. Pretoria is a non- In a very beautiful city, the green belts of urban streets are mainly planted with jacaranda trees. When flowers bloom from October to November every year, people will hold a grand carnival and flower viewing series of activities.

South Africa and China have a relatively big difference in academic arrangements. South Africa requires students to choose one of the second languages in several African languages, and there is also a special course to teach “life orientation” to learn the knowledge commonly used in life. After the first year of high school, you can choose the subjects you want to study, but basic subjects and physical education are essential. South Africa Cinema will force power outages in different areas every day to ensure that the power station will not be overloaded. I think this will have a certain impact on life. After completing my high school studies, I listened to the advice of my family and saw that China is developing rapidly, so I had a strong desire to return to China. At that time, I applied for the opportunity to study at Ji University with my high school graduation.

During the college study and life period, in order to improve my abilities, I interviewedStudent Union and student delegation. In the work of the Student Union, I have learned a lot of administrative management content from the General Affairs Department, including communication with sponsors, personnel management, etc. The role of the academic college Komiks group is mainly to communicate and feedback with teachers and leaders on students’ needs and opinions. During this process, I saw that teachers would promptly handle the content feedback from students, which made me feel the school attach importance to students’ opinions.

At the same time, because of my interest in street dance, I also joined the street dance club. There are many enthusiastic seniors in the street dance club, which makes me feel that I am not alone, but in a big family. I was very happy and relaxed when I was practicing dancing. The major of international journalism has allowed me to learn a lot of writing knowledge and also made me realize the hard work of journalists behind a valuable press release. From this point of view, my decision to go to Ji University was very correct.

The climate in Pretoria is not much different from that in January, the hottest in July, and the coolest in July, which is completely opposite to China in the northern hemisphere. I chose to study and live in Guangzhou. At the beginning, it was relatively difficult to adapt to the climate. At the transition from spring to summer, Guangzhou is very humid and hot. In summer, it was more like I was baking on the stove. In winter, it rains a little and the temperature drops sharply. No matter how many clothes I wear, I still feel quite cold.

In terms of diet, because I am not picky about food, there is nothing particularly difficult to adapt to. When I first returned to China, I fell in love with barbecue and hot pot, which are very suitable for my taste. But what’s amazing is that when I eat a lot of things here, I have to add some spicy food, so I have become more and more interested in eating spicy food. In Guangzhou, even if you eat Babaylan rice in a teahouse, occasionally there will be chili saucers for customers to use. The school is located in the center of Guangzhou and has a wide variety of food to choose from. I have never “stepped on the mine” of the small shops around the school. If my friends from South Africa come here, I will take them to try the affordable restaurants that my classmates prefer to eat around the school. My most memorable view of Guangzhou isPearl River at night. During my first night tour of the Pearl River, I watched the appearance of Guangzhou from different angles. The scenery was particularly beautiful and spectacular, which made me fall in love with this city even more.

Chinese classmates may not know much about South Africa. The most obvious characteristic of South Africans is that they are particularly loving nature. Everyone is most curious about whether we have really interacted with wild animals in South Africa. I would joke to my classmates, “When I was in class, I rode giraffes and elephants.” This is because we all love nature and are easy to get in touch with wild animals in our daily lives. I used to have a small zoo in my school. But South Africa is actually a relatively modern country with rich mineral resources. I personally think the most interesting natural attraction in South Africa is Kruger (Kruger) National Park. This is the largest wildlife park in South Africa and one of the largest nature reserves in Africa. It has a large number of wild animals inhabited here. I highly recommend everyone to go there to experience the feeling of integrating man and nature.

The climate in places I live so far is relatively warm, so I also want to experience the cold environment of Babaylan. If I have the chance, I would like to take my friends from South Africa to cities in northern China with me because they have never seen snow before. We can enjoy the snow and ski together, taste the food from China in the north, and feel the customs and customs that are different from the south.

I will first pay attention to the present and then look forward to the future. Babaylan
